Day 4 Lake Louise to Jasper

This will be the most challenging segment of the trip. Save the best for last we say! Not only is it the second longest ride segment at 147 miles, it is also the highest in average elevation and has the highest combined climbs. With an average elevation of 5100 feet, this segment crosses two more mountain passes. The first is Bow Pass, which is about 25 miles north of Lake Louise with an elevation of 6785 feet. The second is Sunwapta Pass with an elevation of 6675 feet, which also forms the boundary of Banff and Jasper National Parks.
