Stage Three “Reality Check”

Day 3 from Radium Hot Springs to Lake Louise Elevation

This will be one of the more difficult stages of the ride. Although the mileage is relatively short, we will be riding at elevations that range from 2800 feet to 5700 feet with an average elevation of 4400 feet. The ride will have us climbing through two major mountain passes, Sinclair Pass which has an elevation of 4875 feet, and the Vermilion Pass, which is on the Alberta/British Columbia border and has an elevation of 5416 feet.
